Our team of specialists provide strategic advice and design consultancy on a range of mixed-use, commercial or domestic projects. Fulcrum is recruiting a licensed BREEAM assessor (must have completed two certified assessments) to provide consultancy and undertake assessments, working with an existing team of sustainability consultants and licensed assessors. It is anticipated that the successful candidate would continue to train in both domestic and non-domestic assessments, to support our portfolio of assessment based work.

Opportunities would also be provided to develop skills, knowledge and experience beyond BREEAM, for example in relation to low energy design advice, CO2 reduction strategies and master planning level design advice, as well as involvement in Fulcrum's on going research and development work.

Working on a range of commercial and mixed-use developments, the successful candidate will offer the ability to assist our clients in achieving target ratings as well as objectively assessing projects designed by others. Senior Public Health Engineers are needed for this division in our London office. We are currently working across many industry sectors on exciting and demanding projects. This position will involve working with many project teams providing public health design duties on projects. The role will also include checking public health engineering and developing general engineer’s knowledge in public health design. Experience in Sustainable Urban Drainage systems is ideal.

Working alongside the group secretary for the first and second floor these positions will involve; archiving/filing, organising couriers, out of office errands, post distribution, maintaining accurate databases, reception cover and other ad-hoc duties as required. Responsibility will also be shared for maintaining our basement conferencing facilities.

Candidates must have strong organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team. They will need confidence in using their own initiative on occasions and ability to prioritise work load. Previous experience in an office environment will be a distinct advantage. Our Intermediate Engineers bring the link between Junior and Senior staff. They are still a developing engineer and training is a key part of their development. Delegation skills are learnt through working with Junior and Graduate staff members whilst knowledge is imparted and learned on projects. We expect greater levels of responsibility to be taken on projects as we strive to develop our Intermediate Engineers towards a senior level.
