a seminar to unravel and explain the mysteries behind
recent developments in planning policy and sustainability.

and featured speakers including Eddy Taylor from Croydon
Council, Seb Berry, Renewable Energy Association, and

LONDON
ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE 2006
We were delighted to be part in the London Architecture
Biennale 2006, which saw 1000s of people taking part
in architecture related events. Fulcrum Consulting
held an Open Practice on Wednesday 21st June where
visitors came to see models, fly throughs and films
about some of the projects with which we've been involved.
One of our Directors, Richard Shennan, also gave a
short presentation on urban heat sharing networks.
In addition, we sponsored the Passeggiata - an Italian
ritual which followed a specific route taking in architectural
masterpieces from Borough Market to Kings Cross. Members
of the Fulcrum team joined the Sunday tour, and reported
back that they had a wonderful day - the fine weather
and a win for England in the World Cup helped we're
sure….!
MIPIM 2006
Fulcrum Consulting were
in attendance at MIPIM this year. Peter Mark, Saud
Muhsinovic and Greg Byrne were present at the Association
of Consulting and Engineering (ACE) stand at certain
times too.
We were
proud to be representing ourselves at this high profile
event via the ACE stand, and made many interesting
and useful contacts.
SUSTAINABILITY DEBATES On a 3-4 monthly basis, the Sustainability
Forum arranges evening debates on a range of topical
subjects. These debates are meant to encourage the
exchange of ideas, stimulate discussion and, above
all, be fun!
