Fulcrum has licensed assessors for BREEAM for Offices, Schools, Industrial, Retail, Courts, Prisons, Bespoke, the Government's Code for Sustainable Homes and for EcoHomes.

All of the schemes assess the environmental performance of a building over a variety of criteria including energy consumption, water use, transport, pollution and materials. They reward developers who improve environmental performance through good design.

BREEAM
Any non-domestic building can be assessed using BREEAM. Assessment should take place at the design stage of any project to best ensure that any target rating can be secured and a BREEAM certificate obtained. Standard methods exist for most building types although other building types can be accommodated through a bespoke assessment put together with help from BRE.


Code for Sustainable Homes
This is the assessment method operated on behalf of the Government and applies to all new dwellings in England and Wales. The Code Fulcrum Consulting has licensed Code for Sustainable Homes assessors who provide support and consultancy advice to design teams targeting Code ratings leading to formal assessment and certification against the Code for Sustainable Homes

EcoHomes
The EcoHomes scheme applies in Scotland and for English or Welsh housing developments already registered under EcoHomes with BRE for which there is a specific policy requirement that EcoHomes be used.
